Dear Sir or Madam,
Our son, Filipek Rutkowski, was born in july 2007 as a first of twins. During first year of life he had been developing properly. When he was 15 months old we saw that his twin-brother Dawid is making progress and he is not.
Filipek wasn’t reacting on his name, was avoiding eye contact and was playing with the toys in one, particular way. He was moving around himself and was not showing the ability to learn and repeat what we was doing and what we was showing him. Filipek had also big problems with fine motor coordination.
When he was 18 months old the diagnosis was made – autism.
After one month our son started the therapy, but only when we moved to gluten-free, casein-free and sugar-free diet Filipek started to make some progress.
Now, he is reacting on his name, we have got an eye contact with him. He is slowly repeating what we are showing to him and fine motor coordination is also better. Some time ago Filipek couldn’t take the bottle, now he is building small things and is making puzzle from 9 elements.
We have a huge hope that our child will be still making progress.
Unfortunately, we cannot afford to cover all expanses related to therapy and medical care of our son. Lack of needed money can make regress in Filip behaviour and development.
Therefore we ask politely for your financial help.
The cost of monthly rehabilitation is around 2000 PLN (500 EUR).
In december 2009 the cost rised to 3500 PLN (900 EUR), because we needed to make expensive biomedical analysis in United States.
